but clearly has a point..passion and getting-in-key-with-emotions and all that..i thought radcliffe and grint were wooden...and that just made watson look even more exaggerative

i like how Ron has been pitched to bring in the hapless comical aspect and also how Grint has been able to balance this by portraying Ron's troubled emotional state...plus the whole "everyone is against me" teenage streak of stubbornly troublesome moods ;D

yes... and I'd also like to know what all the hugging/kissing-the-top-of-harry's-head that hermione was doing was all about. *huffs* talking about rubbing it in all of us poor, disgraced harry/hermione shippers faces.

don't forget Watson is only doing what Mike Newall told her to do...admittedly it was off par wasn't it?
in my opinion though; Cuaron did the best adaptation, then Newell, and lastly Columbus
David Yates next i think...

Yeah it is.
Sorry no, no defending of emma watson, Newell should have stopped all that terrible touchy-feely-sobby over-acting! My friends and i spent the whole film throwing things at the screen when ever she came on....and screaming loudly and adoringly when ever cedric came on... xoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxox

i think i'd enjoy hanging out with your friends. i think columbus did a pretty good job. i think (haven't seen it in ages, though) i liked the first one a lot better because it was much more light and magical and it wasn't so dark and misty that you couldn't practically see the durn movie!

Not going to bother reading like 5 pages of posts since I last posted on some boards, I"m only saying what I think, which can be summarized in one sentence:
Too much was left out
No Ludo Bagman, no quidditch world cup, Rita Skeeter in 2 scenes, no animagus thingy w/ the beetle...
ungh...
Also, the sobby part at the end looked REALLY fake.

Ok, first off, i DO agree (i mean, no dobby and winky??? WHAT THE HELL WAS THAT? ?) but i have to say i was actually really impressed at how they managed to keep a totally coherant story with all the stuff they cut...'cause seriously folks, come on, they COULDN'T leave everything in, you just can't have six-hour-films. Audiences would get bored. Or possibly deep-vein thrombosis. On the other hand, whilst i think they were perfectly justified in cutting some things, it did irritate me when they had obviously cut stuff out just to add their own little random bits. I mean, the dancing class? Yeah, it was funny but it REALLY wasn't neccessary....But, you know, i WAY preferred this one to any of the others so far. I HATED the first two, they had none of the magic i had been expecting. The third was fabulous and this one, with the scrummy Cedric Diggory supplying plenty of eye-candy, was, in my view, pretty darn excellent. And i LIKE the groovy new dumbledore! He has way more life than the old one! Oh and rosie? Yeah, my friends all belong in an asylum, they are FUN! xoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxox

I know. But the point is, I don't think people who haven't read the book would understand it. My friend, who read ALL the books said she didn't quite get it.

oh also I cannot stand the new dumbledore. I'm sorry, duchessa, but he just bugs the crap out of me! he's like, too fast and not as mysterious and magical as the old one does. he looks like a dirty old out-of-work cheap wizard. sorry. I'm very opinionated.

I have too much to say on this subject. So I'm going to try to stick to the main points. New Dumbledore = wrong. Bad. Completely OOC. Cedric = Hot. Beyond hot. mind numbingly droolerific I-know-lets-just-lay-down-and-die-because-he's-too-beautiful. Hot guys keep jumping out of trees! YAY TREES! Harry = Bathroom = OMG NEKKID HARRY! (and cedric was so going to meet him there... *cough*) Bad 'Mione acting, bad yule ball. Bad Mione. Lot's of slash in this film. I was squeeing the whole way throughout. XD as were my oh-so-slashy friends. Voldie was creepy. Awesome, and creepy. WHOOOT DEATH EATERS! Young Barty Crouch was also hot. AUnfortuantly, he was never found anywhere near any form of tree. darn. They've entirely RUINED PETER NOOOOOOOOOO BUGGER. Neville was amazingly cute. Snape whacking Harry and Ron! Huzzah!!!! aaaaaaaaaaaaand that's all for now. (me and my friends went to see it in costume on the first night)

LOL i'm so glad u and duchessa r back. I love the way y'all think.
yes, dumby was bad. cedric i really did not believe was hot, beyond hot, mind numbingly droolerific I-know-lets-just-lay-down-and-die-because-he's-too-beautiful. i did notice all the jumping out of trees the hogwarts boys did--- quite odd. young barty crouch was not hot!! i thought the snape hitting harry and ron was very funny. snape made like, no appearence in this film besides that though!
rosie
p.s. harry is too darn pale to cause any excitement in the bath!!

yes- yet another funny, yet pointless waste of time that could be spent on real book parts.
