The people that didn't get prizes get a half-day? That's not much incentive to do well in school, now is it?

I KNOW!!! Heehee, i'd pick potter over prizes any old day. They get to be lectured by some obscure MP and presented with science books. woohoo
MEANWHILE!!! We can go have ribs and the massive murder sundae at Old Orleans and drool over Viktor Krun and Cedric Diggory in a dark cinema for three hours!!!
There's just no competition is there?? xoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxox

no way... if my school had that kind of idea on how to teach kids, i'd be happily getting straight F's (nah, more like B's and C's).

oh, have you guys checked out the photos of the yule ball on the harry potter sight? not the goblet of fire movie one but the harry potter one, there's also a game but you need a specific size picture for it to work, it looks so funny even if the picture is small! anyway i just remembered that but i'm not sure what the site is though... i can't remember

I SAW ITT!!!!!!!!!! I saw it yesterday with my cousin and two of my friends....in IMAX!! WOOHOO! I'm seeing it again with a bunch of other friends 2moro. I thought it was pretty good but I already knew most of the stuff they were going to cut so I wasn't too bothered about all of that. I think most ppl that have seen it and have read the books will complain about that part...Also stuff was a bit rushed at times. Haha, I can see why Steve Kloves wouldnt want to do the script for the fifth one. Good luck to the screen writer for OotP and good luck to David Yates.....

HP was ok... i give it 3/5
sfx were brilliant but the scripting wasnt very good i thought. Sometimes it was rushed other times it just didn't grip but the child-actors get better with every movie.

I saw it today......I think it was OK.....I mean they made really good effects and I liked it but I missed some things from the book like Dobby and I really don't like Dumbledore this time- he was a bit unfriendly and kind of aggressive. I also don't like the many jumps in time and that they changed so much from the book. But when I don't compare it with the book it was made really good. I know it's hard not to shorten something when you don't want a 24h film.......Perhaps I gonna see it again......

hey y'all i just saw it (I kno, like, 2 weeks after it was released) and man was i disappointed. the director cut so much of the real stuff for a whole bunch of fluff. the magical essence that makes up the books made absolutely no appearance in the movie. it was completely focused on the darkness and evil and the macho stunts. the task with the dragons was way overly dramatic. and every scene was either nighttime or a very, very cloudy/overcast day. it looked like the camera was wearing sunglasses, for heavens sake. ok, i kno i come across as a crazed hp fan that wants a replica of the book. i wouldn't really mind a semi-different plot line if there was still the original magical, mysterious feel that the first 2 movies had. i didn't like the maze scene simply because i could hardly see what was going on through all the blueish grayish mist. that's what the whole movie was 2 me-- darkness, fuzziness and some nonsense. the yule ball scene was a waste of time also; they could've spent more time on stuff like that scene with the marauder's map where harry sees 'barty crouch' when it's really the fake madeye moody. o, and another thing; the people were supposed 2 b wearing dress robes, not evening gowns
well got all that ranting done what i did like was how cool the underwater scene was. some of the special effects were wonderful. the quiddtich cup was pretty cool, altho i think we were missing alot, since they spent all the time on the spectacular entrances of the players and not a second on the actual action. which i probably shouldn't be complaining about becuase if there was any action i'd probably end up complaining about how they overly-dramatized it, just like the dragon scene.
merry ball of sunshine, aren't i?

yey, rosies's back! its been really quiet around for ages, i cant talk about stuff when there's nothing to talk about but now... ok i'll stop now and get on with what i was gonna write....
i saw the movie within a week of it coming out, none of my friends have seen it yet and i can't talk about it to any of them..... but as soon as i got home i wrote a list of things i did and didn't like,
i did like, that the scary bits were acctually scary, with the beginnning, the end and prof moody's first class, and the challenges! they were awesome oh and the quidditch final too
i didn't like that Winky ad Dobby weren't in it :-( and that harry went to visit dumbledore about the dead man in the forest and didn't even tell him about the man! i found that strange, also rosie's right about dumbledore being strange.... and the yule ball was SO a waste of time! also ginny's dress was horrible, it made her look so young and i just didn't like it waddabout hermione? tell me what u guys thought about her was she better than the first three or not, i'm undecided....
but the movie was still great and i am happy i saw it!

Ok....thoughts.... ROBERT PATTINSON IS SO GORGEOUS!!!!!!!!!!! CEDRIC HOW COULD YOU DIE? ? HE'S SO HOT IT'S SCARY.... ahem..... Ok, I LOVED this film....but there were just certian things i couldn't help, as a true fan, but make fun of.... 1. Did you guys check the amount of time Hogwarts boys spend UP TREES in this one? ?? 2. When the swelling music for Hermione's odious "ooooh, isn't she beautiful" slow-mo stair descent moderated to a really strange key. 3. When Alan Rickman finally acheived his life-long ambition to speak without opening his mouth AT ALL. 4. When Mr Crouch died and no one gave a monkey's 5. Anytime Harry tried to portray ANY kind of emotion, be it fear, joy, anger...daniel radcliffe is TERRIBLE, all he does is waggle his lower jaw like a pirahnah. Watch him, you'll see. 6. When Lucius Malfoy appeared to have nicked his wig of Legolas for the second movie running 7. When that weird bridge in Hogwarts changed position for the THIRD year running 8. When i actually felt the need to yell "calm down dear!!!" at Hermione. I swear, she spent the whole movie in hysterical tears for NO REASON!!! Worst case of over-acting i have ever seen, no exaggeration. 9. When at the yule ball, the rest of the champions and their partners looked like torville and dean, off ice and harry and parvati looked like a couple of wombles. 10. When the german oompah and very silly dancing changed to HOGWARTS RAVE ON RAVE complete with two members of radiohead. But..not withstanding...great film!!! xoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxox

hey hey hey that was really ginny dancing with neville? i thought the movie directors had messed it up *again* and paired neville up with some other girl. o, and neville dancing by himself? what was that all about?
o, and there wasn't really a quidditch final at all, was there? there was all the pomp and circumstance (don't quite know what that means, but it seems to fit) and just when you think you're in for another great quidditch match then cut! ur back @ the weasly's tent.
oh man i love the part where harry and ron r trying 2 talk and snape's shoving them into the desk.

Yeah..lmao...Duchessa ur "review" bit rocked! haha...sooo true..especially hermione..i thought she needed to CHILL...someone in a review ACTUALLY thought she was the best actor out of the trio in this movie..."only one to rise to the challenge" ...ha! that person is clearly insane.
