I really love riddles (despite being lame at them) and seeing as you want more games, I thought I'd start a riddle thread.
I'll post a riddle and the person who solves it first posts the next one unless they can't think of one (you'll have to say if you can't so someone else can post one)
ok. first riddle.. 2 fathers and 2 sons go fishing and they catch a fish each and don't throw any back, but there are only 3 fish, how is this?

The answer is three legs, and the Celts rule. Their names are the best i.e. Gwendolyn, Brock, Aidan, Merlin, Fiona etc...

Lavita what does "In Deo Lea spes" mean. There is no verb. And you have two subjects unless there is an implied form of "sum." The lioness is hope in god? The hope in god is the lioness? So confusing!!!

I think I know this one...
'In come two legs carrying one leg Lay down one leg on three legs out go to legs in comes four legs out go five legs in comes two legs snatches up three legs, flings it at four legs And brings back one leg'
A man (or woman) walks in, carrying a bone They put the bone on a stool The person then leaves, and a dog enters. The dog snatches the bone and leaves, then the person re enters The person throws the stool at the dog and retrieves the bone.
Was I right? HuntressDiana

Go me! Okay, I guess it's my turn to set a riddle. Have a go at this one...
'I never was, am always to be, No one ever saw me, nor ever will, And yet I am the confidence of all To live and breathe on this terrestrial ball. What am I? '
