Bloomsbury are publishing my latest novel, The Falconer's Knot on 2nd April in the UK and 3rd April in the US. There will be translations in German, Dutch, Danish, Japanese and I hope Swedish very soon.
It is not a Stravaganza novel but is set in the real Italy of 1316, in Umbria, and is a murder mystery with romance in it or perhaps a love story with murders in it. It has a gorgeous jacket with gold on it. If you live in the UK you can hear me talking about it on Radio 4's Open Book on Sunday 25th March, repeated the following Thursday.
I hope you'll all enjoy it

I have just done quite a long radio interview about TFK on One Word Radio. It's a digital station, available on Freeview at 717 and Sky at 0127. It will be one Saturday morning, 14th April at 10.30, with Paul Kent. There will also be a review in the Times that day by Amanda Craig.
I'm afraid all this applies only to the UK all you lovely extra-britannic fans. But good publicity for the book.

TFK has been longlisted for the Guardian Children's Fiction Prize! There are 8 titles on the list - results in September. I think Stoneheart will win but it's nice to be there.

TFK has made it to the Guardian shortlist of four titles! Winner to be announced on 5th October.
Much to my surprise, Stoneheart didn't make it on to the shortlist; the other titles are: Mr Gum and the Biscuit Billionaire, The Truth Sayer and Finding Violet Park.
Anyway, very pleased to be there.
