No it's not the basketball team. This is a new board for peeps to tell us all about places they've been, want to go, or even where you live!
It's the summer time so you're bound to have gone somewhere. Share the experiences! ;D

hey I think I'll start....mmh so one of my absolutely favorite places is Dubrovnik in Croatia. has anyone ever been there? it's fantastic the bottom in the older part of the city looks like it has been polished and there are many little alleys where small stairways go like 500 steps straight up and every 20 steps theres another alley where little restaurants are placed and there are sooo many one after another and you really can't decide where to eat because everything looks sooo good. and there are old houses and churches and fountains and big markets and little shops. I think you must have been there to know what I mean...when we drove away it was like nooo I want to stay I never want to go away and I was there just for one day. here are some pics Jules

Wow...I've never been to Europe, but I have gone to China and done all the tourist things...like the Great Wall - my family was hiking it [don't be deceived by the descriptions of a smooth secure structure-you have the go up allllll these stairways on a steep mountain without handrails so it's just creepy] and when we were at one of the peaks, it started raining and we were a couple miles aways from our car!

I live in Germany so it's no prob to be in Europe. China would be really interessting the people there are said to be really friendly. the only country in Asia I ever was, was the Asian part of Turkey but I haven't seen much of the countryside there I mostly stayed in our hotel. This year I'm going to USA. I'm very excited what it is like, there. now the only country I really want to go to is Australia. Has anyone ever been there?

My cousin went to Australia for six months. He enjoyed it but I can't elaborate really
I went to Egypt a few years ago. Unfortunately my last comp blew up on me, taking the pictures with it. But its a brilliant place to go to see how history has survives. The enormity of everything is breathtaking and its such an amazing culture

It was nearly the same in Turkey. We went to a jewelry manufacture and a man there wanted to give my mom a necklace for 10000 euro as a present if I would marry his son...was funny but I'm not married even though the necklace was really pretty^^. but that's everywhere there. men propose to you while you are walking on the street

Well I've stayed in north america but I love california! I'm planning to travel the world with my skis and a suitcase, though, and ski in different countries. And I want to bike across europe and through the rocky mtns. I love going to places and learning the history. I've also recently been interested in wanting to go to japan and the oriental places. I know someone who lived in australia and I am planning on living there too. But when I settle down it will be in northern california or british columbia, right in the middle of the sierra nevadas or the canadian rockies and a few hours from the pacific!

a friend of mine lived in thailand and hungary because of her father's job. but I can't imagine living so far away from my familiy and friends for ever. even one year is long enough....but when I had to live in another country I think I would take Italy...the weather is good and the countryside is fantastic and then the sea is not far....perhaps on sicilia - I saw pics from little villages there they look great

Popping in again... I keep forgetting this site, sorry...
Anyway, I LOVE California, rosie... I go there almost every year. It's awesome... But I dont' get to travel that much other than to CA... I went to St. Thomas in the USVI this spring. My first trip to Carribean... pretty cool. I went to China when I was really little, so I don't remember it much.
