It had to be done... Poor Sky had no thread to call his own, lol. He dosn't seen to be very popular, although most of oour attention is turned to Luciano and Arriana throughout the books (Mary should make a whole book about them, lol, jk). What do you guys think about Sky? I think he's a nice character. I guess he's just not featured enough for us to get to know him... Anyway... I guess he's a cool character, he and Alice seem to get on well... *shrugs* open to opinion.

Merla, Mary already wrote a book about Luciano and Arianna - City Of Masks. I don't like Sky's dreadlocks. Or his father. Or "his" stravagante - Brother Sulien. And I wasn't that interested in his relationship with Alice - it was way too ordinary. There was no exciting adventure or hard times which they help each other through to bring them together. They just kinda thought that the other was fit. But other than that, he is absolutely fine. lol

*sheepish* Yesh... well... then she should write more about them, lol. I have to agree with you about dreadlocks (ewwwwwwwww) and his father... but not everyone can have the perfect life yah know... I guess Alice and Sky's relationship was a bit ordinary, but cum on! The book isn't supposed to be focused on the two of them... And there was a pretty rough time - Alice all upset about Georgia, remember? But they didn't really have to help EACH-OTHER through it I guess... w/e, lol.

Oh well..i dunno, i think Sky was alrite but he and Alice were a poor substitute for Arianna and Luciano while we were waiting. I don't even really care about what happens to them. All I can think is: what's gonna happen to Luciano and Arianna next? I guess that's how it always was. I wish Sky would go back and visit Talia though.

No, but in the really great books, you know, the boy and the girl go through all the life-threatening adventures together... like Mortal Engines, and The Divide... see? Not like, jealousy of other girls and stuff like that.

Huh..so is this a good or bad thing? I think I rather like the life-threatening adventures bit.....still I'm glad Alice didn't become a stravagante permanently..don't think she wouldn've been much of a help anyways...

I like Sky, even though he seems a bit ordinary sometimes. maybe he deserves a bit of a break. It may be the fact that he grew up with no father and with a very sick mother that he hasn't had as much of a chance to get out and socialise as other people. Yeah, he doesn't really fit in in Tallia as much as Luciano, so i guess thats why he decided not to stay. The relationship with Alice is a bit random. Maybe they would be better as brother/sister than bf/gf. Oh well, i don't really know
PS i still like Arianna and Luciano more though!

Aw I liked Sky. A lot. I pictured him having short dreads. There's this guy at my school with chestnut skin and short dreads and he is adorable. So I pictured Sky like him!
How weird would it be if Rosalind and Paul got married? He and Alice would be step-siblings. Awkward.

No, I thought it was good he went out with Alice. Give the poor boy a bit of happiness in his life. I don't really like dreads so much. But you know. It's his hair.....

Hmm... I'll admit that through both the second and third book I was just waiting to see what would happen between Arianna and Luciano, but I still liked Sky better then Georgia . I, like taya, imagined him with short dreadlocks and a cute dark face. I thought he'd be very handsome. I'm not so sure I liked Alice in there at all. I liked her in the beginning. Ya know, i thought she was cool, but then she started to annoy me when she didn't believe Sky about the Stravaganti and such. But that, of course, is just my opinion. Anyway, I really liked Sky and thought he was pretty cool to have as a stravagante. I also thought it was really cool how he met Sandro and helped him out and stuff. I thought their friendship was really sweet.

yeah, i didn't mind sky. he was ok, but I couldn't imagine what he'd look like. when I tried to, I just came up with floating dreadlocks! ;D It's good that alice isn't a full-time stravagante, because she would just confuse things, but it's a good idea to just make her go to talia once, to see that sky was tellin the truth... sky and alice were really cute together! they can't be brother and sis! noooooooo

Well, I thought Sky was a little ordinary from the first two Stravaganti we met - Georgia and Lucien/Luciano. But I warmed to him after a while since his relationship with "his" Stravagante is very different from the others - a pharmacist-friar! How awesome that Sky knows someone who can alternately cause death or life. Anyway. The Alice relationship was kind of strange...I mean, I know she's a good friend and all, but I still thought the relationship between the two might have been written out of convenience, maybe? Oh well. Maybe ordinary is good for this kid - not too much drama like the other two young couples. Jealousy is drama enough for them.
