Would that be the Julia who is somewhat interested in Luciano? If so, try not to evaporate and keep your brother out of our forum!

Hey Miss Hoffman! Its really cool to be able to chat with you But i have a confesion, I've only read the first book! I know, I know, its shameful(hanging head) but its not from lack of trying! My public librarys ( we have a college library and a main library) are conspiring against me!!!!!!!!!!!! Every time I try to gte my hands on that wonderful book they call eachother and go, "Its that Veronica girl..............yea im sending you our copy of the book now......10-4" I have put that book on hold 4 times! and I still haven't seen hide nor hair of it. These people are EVIL!!!!!!!!!!! They are conspiring against me! I see the plot (twitch, twitch). Anyway, I have just one little question, DO LUCIANO AND ARIANNA GET MARRIED!!!!!!!!!THEY HAVE TO GET MARRIED! well anyway, thanks for your time. Veronica

Dear Veronica, I applaud your valiant attempts to get hold of City of Stars and I hope they will be rewarded.
Now, you really don't expect me to tell you what happens to Luciano and Arianna do you? You must just read the books and wait until February for book three. Anticipation leads to even more delight, I hope.

huh, that would be an interesting twist. You are extremely cynical. However, it made me laugh a lot so what the hell. Yeah, i really hope that DOESN'T happen, interesting as it would be because luciano's already dies once and they need to be together. It's totally meant to be. haha xoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxo

Hello hello! I'm so excited to see this forum. I forsee a lot of fun here! Miss Hoffman, I don't expect you to remember me, but I believe I emailed you once a long time ago, as Laura. (It was about making movies out of your brilliant books!) It's such a wonderful opportunity to be a part of a fan forum where you can actually discuss the books with the author herself! Is there any way I can apply to be a moderator or something of that sort? I have a lot of background with message boards and how to keep them running smoothly, so I'd like to offer my services if need be. I suppose I'll say a little about myself before I dig in- I'm a huge fan of the Stravaganza books because of their originality and how beautifully written they are. I couldn't put them down when I first read them! Anyway, I picked out my nifty little screen name in honor of Lucien and all things Italian. Feel free to call me by that or Lucy or whatever little nicknames you label me with. I hope to see you all around the forum! ~Lucy

Help! When I tried to post as Mary Hoffman (under book chat I think it was) the site wouldn't let me, saying that there was already a member of that name. But that is me! Your very own supplier of Stravaganza fiction and excruciating wait for book three. So I am now posting as Mary the writer, because it is really disorientating to be told you can't be who you actually are.
Hello, Laura/Lucy/Luciana. I had at one time about five Lauras writing and it was the most highly-represented name, but I never guessed that one of them might secretly be a Lucy. I suppose if "Arianna" had viewed your post, she will contact you if she needs help.
There is fierce competition for film parts, especially Arianna. But since this is fantasy world, there having been no film offered, I think as many of you can be her as want to be.
Mary Hoffman (really)

I'm sorry to hear about your trouble, Miss Hoffman! I don't know if you fixed your problem or not, but I find myself unable to help you because I'm new to this system of forums. I've spent a lot of time at EZboard forums, and they run things a bit differently. Best of luck! ~Lucy

Ms. Hoffman, I have occasionally forgotten to log in and have gotten the message you mention (thus the "Duschessofbooks2" message that isn't really a message on the other board).
Veronica obviously doesn't live near me. We have a WONDERFUL library system that always gets people what they want (or almost always...). Can you tell I work for it? But I agree that these books are not well-known enough, and even our wonderful library has too few copies.

Hi all! I'm new here, but as thoroughly addicted to Stravaganza as you are! It's a long wait for February 2005... And I'll have to wait even longer before the Dutch translation comes out
