Been trying to figure out Talia's equivalent Italian cities.
Here's as good as I could get. Correct me if I'm wrong
Bellezza : Venice
as featured in City of Masks and City of Stars
Belleza is known as the City of Masks and ruled by the Duchessa. Every unmarried woman over sixteen must wear a mask. see "A Tradition of vanity"
Giglia : Florence
as featured in City of Flowers
Giglia is the City of Flowers and is the stronghold of the Di Chimici family.
Romula : Rome
Rome: the capital of Italy and therefore the main Roman stronghold. Even today its spectacular architecture is wonderous despite the toll of time upon it. In Ancient times, Rome was ruled by an Emperor (Caesar), such Emperors include the infamous Julius Caesar, Commodus the Tyrant and Marcus Aurelias the Philosopher. Rome itself was founded by one of two brothers raised by a she-wolf. These two wild brothers, Romulas and Remus each built a city to rival the other and Remus..to spite his brother, leaped over the walls of Rome to prove it weak. However...upon his first step into Rome, Remus was killed by archers. And so...Romulas' city was christened, its grass drinking in the blood of his murdered brother
Remora : Siena
as featured in City of Stars
Remora is the City of Stars and home to the Stellata - the Race of the Stars - an old traditional horse race between the Remoran Twelfths (zodiac symbols) around the Campo. Held annually with the exception of the Stellata del Falco - a tribute race to Falco Di Chimici.
Cittanuova : Pompeii
The once proud city of Pompeii is now preserved only in memory and books. In 79 AD (august 26th) the usual light atmosphere was silenced as a low rubble filled the sky and shook the earth. Mighty Mount Vesuvius...the volcano dominanting the skyline had awoken and with all the fire of an angered god..it erupted..burning the city to the ground and encasing all in a great cloud of fallen ash and for 1500 years..nothing more of Pompeii was ever seen...
Bellona : Bologna
Bellona is the city in which Dr William Dethridge first arrived in after his first (and accidental) Stravagantation to Talia during an alchemy experiment in 16th Century England.
Montemurato : Bolzaro
as featured in City of Masks.
Montemurato is known as the walled mountain. Each of the twelve towers surrounding it are watchtowers. It is the place where the discoverer of Stravagantation, Dr William Dethridge (also known as Gugliemo Crinamorte) was hiding.
Padavia : Padua
In Talia, Padavia is the location of the University where such people as Rodolfo; the Regent of Bellezza attended. A highly acclaimed education establishment, the University has given Talia many successful scholars.
Padua, in Italy, is one of the main cultural and economic places of Italy. It is also a pilgrimage city and every year millions of pilgrims go to visit the "Basilica di Sant’Antonio", where the grave of "Sant’Antonio" is preserved.
Moresco : Pisa
Pisa is famous for "la Torre di Pisa"..The tower of Pisa which is the bell tower of the Cathedral. Its construction began in 1173 and continued for two hundred years. It was meant to be perfectly vertical and during its construction it began to lean..no doubt due to the time it took to build which allowed the chance for the foundations to shift
Fortezza : Genoa
Classe - Ancona
Volana - Parma
I will add more to this
