Mmm, plus, not meaning to be evil or nasty or anything, but check out the beginning of the thread, I think there was a long, in-depth discussion of the fact that the native Brits/Celts went into battle naked. So they didn't wear anything. But I have to agree with the skills to make armour thing, they just didn't have them.
Hmmm, and Clive Owen was...not BRITISH ENOUGH to play the FIRST BRITISH HERO, hello, Arthur is totally a British guy...what was with the Roman/Russian thing?

Actually, though this may or may not have relevence, the ancient Celts (called woads in the movie I think) wore no clothes into battle, but smeared their skin with woad, a dye made from woad leaves. This dye was later discovered to be antiseptic. Traditionally, only men fought in battle, but if they were faced with weak opponents, they returned to their homes. Then the women, as strong and fierce as their husbands, threatened to kill them unless they went back to destroy their foes. Well, I hope that was of some help.

Yeah they are. For example, the whole thing with Lancelot was wrong. He is still alive when Arthur and Guinevere (or however you spell it) get married. I think Lancelot and Guinevere have an affair or something
