Don't waste ur time with this movie The acting is wooden..especially from Clive Owen..and the plot is flimsy and pointless..the battles are nothing to shout about either. Merlin might as well have not existed for all the lines he had. it was a good idea to portray Arthur as he was really believed to be..Artorius...the half eng half roman soldier who fought against the saxons but honestly...shabby Being a fan of the Arthur myth and the film Excalibur I decided to give this a try..thoroughly disappointed

ugh don't worry, i was NOT planning on giving this movie any sort of try. I'm not so aversed toClive Owen, i just think keira knightly is a waste of space as an actress, the main reason for this being.....she can't act. i really mean that, i think she's TERRIBLE. And on top of that, who prances around in the SNOW in a LEATHER BIKINI?? Especially not in the DARK AGES!! xoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxox

And if they'd done that a) the cinema would have been filled with guys watching Keira Knightley in the way some girls watch Johnny Depp/Johnny Wilkinson/Orlando Bloom and b) it would have been un-releasable....i swear i just made that word up..... ;D lol Louise~xXx~

Sure come up with something else to discuss instead..... lol actually, here's something: WHO WOULD YOU HAVE PLAY ARIANNA AND LUCIANO IN A FILM OF STRAVAGANZA? There, deadly serious, but i have no idea......someone fit and young for each of them, but obviously one male one female........ well duh. Lol Louise~xXx~

You've never read the Harry Potter books?!?!?!?!?!? Anyway, I thought King Arthur was good. Sure, Gweneviere (sp?) wasn't a dainty blonde, but there is no written law that she was. Clive Owen is ok, I liked him better in Gosford Park. But I thought the battles where great, you've gotta give them credit for never having picked up a sword or a bow & arrow. Kiera Knightly was good in Pirates of the Carribean, and I though she was good in King Arthur too. And as for the costumes, native Brits did wear those in war, they really didn't have the skills to make a suit of armour, and the more they blend into the backround, the better.

Clive Owen did not suit the role of arthur at all...he was MUCH too wooden and bland..you could tell from his cating that he wasnt comfortable in the role
