I'm going to try to do something a little different to Stravaganza fan fic. Well, here goes nothing.
Aidan was surprised to see his mother's van in the driveway when he got home from school. Aidan put his bokbag on the chir in the entryway of his house and walked over to the refridgerator to get something to eat. He opened the door to the fridge and picked out a ripe apricot, washed it off and began to eat it at the kitchen table. When he finished he stood up and began to wander around the house.
"Mom? Where are you?" he shouted.
There was no answer but his own echoes. He walked up the stairs and repeated his cry.
"I'm in here honey," came the reply from the direction of his room.
He walked into his room and saw his mother with a crowbar and was amazed. His mom was psychiatrist and was very gentle hearted. He could never see here with a crowbar and when he saw what she was doing with it he gasped.
"Mom, what are you doing to my room?" exclaimed Aidan.
"When I was vacuuming earlier in the week, something fell from the ceiling. It was a piece of paper that had a map of the house and it said there was something buried in your room so I decided to investigate," was his mother's response.
"Don't you think you could have asked me before destroying my room though?"
"I couldn't wait because ever since I was a little kid I had dreamt of finding buried treasure," said his mother as a floorboard popped loose.
"Look there!" shouted Aidan's mother with joy.
Aidan saw a beautifully carved ebony box and could only gape at how extraordinarily it was carved and the detail the woodworker had put into its making. His mother cafefully exhumed the box and opened it.
I've got to go for know and I hope the suspense doesn't kill you, I'll write more though.
