The others were great, but City Of Flowers was the grand finish!

I'm going to have to go with City of Masks. *tries to stop herself from saying it*
...
I LOVE LUCIANO!
I like him as the main character - my next favourite would be COF, then of course, COS. I like that even though new characters are introduced, we still get to read about the 'ongoing' characters and their plotlines.

I like COM best too, though the last page of COF beats all, of course - I feel Lucien is at his most Lucien-ish in that book.. he seems more human, like a real boy in that first book. Then he becomes more and more Talian in the next two books, he keeps changing until at the end of COF he seems a completely different person, a different person with a new name and long hair, which I am still a little unsure of. E.g. (Spoilers for COF - though come on people, you've all read it by NOW, haven't you? ) When Luciano proposes to Arianna - it's lovely and romantic and probably the most read page in my copy of COF. But the Lucien of COM would probably squirm up in embarassment at the idea of doing anything like that. As would any other 21st century boy - however, I'm sure a Talian would think it nice and normal and romantic. What was my point? Oh, yes. Lucien becomes less like the Lucien we first meet in COM, and more like a proper native of Talian. But I do miss that first Lucien - I really liked him. In the next book, I'd love to see some Lucienish Luciano, just a little something to show that Lucien's still in there and a bit not-fitting-in-ish with Talia. Btw - I've only just discovered the proper pronounciation of Lucien. I though it was a "sh" on the 'c'. *blushes*
