I liked City of Masks better than City of Stars. I haven't read City of Flowers yet so i couldn't choose it. -_-;

I didn't like COS as much as the other two... It just wasn't so good - one reason is that there was all the tension between Arianna and Luciano like in COF but there was no romantic ending to make it all right!!!!

I was really trn between city of masks (bcoz it is pure arianna and luciano before they got duchessa-ized and everything got so complicated) and city of flowers (because it fulfilled all my dreams) but in the end i went for flowers because of the wonderful knitting together of all the loose ends and working everything out.
I don't think you should hav given peeps the chance o say all of them, we need concrete answers! Still, good idea, i was going to poll this question.

yea i thought about COM cus of that..but..there was like..nuthin..no really good Arianna/Luciano moments..even in COS it was funny to watch em be jealous..but except for the small mention at the end in COM there's not much..plus they were only 15 so it's justified

cof, cof, cof! it is really romantic, cos it has all the couples coming together and loads of action! there is one good bit in COM between luciano and arianna... actually there are several...
when they've argued and arianna doesn't think that she could marry any normal talian after being friends with lucien and she doesn't think she could bear losing their last afternoon
and at the end when he thinks she could be his girlfriend
and at the epilogue when they've finished dancing

yea..those r the ones i meant but compare that to the other two..there r loads more moments in those..only difference is that u hafta go and read thru georgia and sky's stories to get to it  wait...when did she argue about not marryin another talian after she was friends with him?? and the part with their last afternoon?? ...can i get page quotes for that ;D? |

nono, she duzn't argue with him ABOUT marrying another talien (though that wud've bin cool), she argues with him about his diving into the canal and then that bit "it was the closest they'd ever come to a row" and she duz all this considering later and thinking about marriage and about how she couldn't marry any one else now she'd met him...

well i loved all of the books, but my favorite has to be City of Flowers. Mainly because of all the Arianna and Lucien romance. My two favorite parts in COF were when Lucien fought in the duel with the Duke and at the very end, after he comes out of the box which held the statue of the Duchessa. I would say more but it would totally spoil the ending for those who haven't read COF yet.
