yeah definitly ;D a tricky part in City of Masks would be having both Venice and Belleza and showing there differences and....ah...talking like a filmmaker here and I'm not there yet. okay...if no-one else has made it b4 I qualify as a film director, I'll offer to do it if Mary will let me ;D

A movie would be cool and i also agree w/Lavita it would be hard showing the differences between Venice and Belleza

but not impossible due mainly to the big time differences..some of Venice's spledour would be diminished by the modern factors...shops..tourists etc. and Belleza values silver rather than gold

hmmm, it wudn't reely b that hard as long as it wasn't a really low budget student film. After all, there's so much incredible special effect tec. 2day they cud make Venice look like pretty much whatever they wanted. Look at Lord of the rings or the Matrix or X-men or any big budget movie with loads of tricky scenery, they just make it up. They could totally computer alter Venice so it looks different but similar enough to be plausibly "venice". xoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxox

no..the digital alteration is best used on Belleza..since Venice does actually exist and has the modern aspects for the comparison.
Low budget student film? NO WAY...Stravaganza deserves millions ;D

charmed i'm sure. yawn, ok, I've got an idea for what seems to be our own private little thread now. Who would you think of as perfect for different roles in a stravaganza movie? Like....ooohhhhh, Jonny Depp for Rodolpho, heehee...and alan rickman for rinaldo!!! xoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxox

when anyone asks me a question like that the possible answers just evict themselves from my head Johnny Depp would be better as an overly-charming Di Chimici in my opinion...or a mandolier ;D Jason Isaacs would be good as a completely evil Di Chimici..just look at the roles he has played! And if u've seen Life is Beautiful (La Vita E Bella) the guy who plays the main char Guido should play Rodolfo Mary Hoffman sould be Silvia! ;D ;D ;D ;D

hey yeah! I agree with most of those except jonny depp as a mandolier, i mean i hear where you're coming from but i'd need him to have maximum screen time. Ooooh, hey, what about dethridge? Arianna and luciano would be unknowns obviously. I'd die if they had someone like daniel radcliffe doing luciano, wouldn't you? Pleeeeeease tell me daniel radcliffe's not like your brother or something.... xoxoxoxoxoxoxoxxoxoxoxoxo

Dethridge..hmm... ..difficult that.especially since my mind has gone completely blank...Billy Connolly..just for laughs! ;D ;D ;D.....have to get back to u on that.. what about Guido Parola? And Enrico?..whose played a really slippery on-screen character? Andy Serkis is all that comes to mind ych..to put D.R in Stravaganza would be suicide!

I am cut to the quick! Alan Rickman has to be Duke Niccolo! And I like Jonny Depp or Rufus Sewell for Rodolfo; they are both technically old enough.
Very charmed by the notion that I could play Silvia but I'd have to have a body double, I think!
I'd like Micahel Gambon for Dethridge - too bad he's now the new Dumbledore. Andy serkis as Enrico..hmmn..interesting.
