Hey, i HAVE them all, and they are great, if dated. God i'm soooo sad. Oh except The Last Battle, i don't think they ever actually made one of that which is a pity because whilst it made me cry it was wonderful. You got to see all the characters again, not just that irritating Eustace and skanky Jill. Oh and Susan decided she was too old which is lame becasue how could she just forget about Narnia when she had been queen there longer than she had ever lived in her real world? idiot. xoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxox

Oh, yes (to reply to a MUCH earlier bit of convo), I loved the Last Battle too, I cried so hard at the end when the world was being taken apart... but then it was OK. Also, the bit where they're all being brave and courageous, and looking after each other and saying things like 'save yourselves, I will hold these few off alone while you make good your escape' etc...cried there too. Umm, have to agree with Duchessa about Eustace...ugh. Don't you just totally adore Caspian in The Voyage Of The Dawn Treader?! Gorgeous....in a different way to Luciano, of course... I have no idea where Duchessa went on holiday, HEY DUCHESSA!!!!! Enlighten us!!! lol Tatyana xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

In fact I adore every narnia character except stupid idiot susan and that irriating badger in Prince Caspian who's constantly going on about how "beasts don't change". AAAAAH he is too, I love Reepicheep, I cried in the Voyage of the Dawn Treader when he goes away I was like 'excuse me?! Don't go!' and then when he turns up again in the Last Battle, I was so happy... and he was so funny with Eustace...didn't you love it when Eustace turned into a dragon in the Voyage? It was so good, I was practically jumping around screaming 'HAH' because he totally deserved it... Lol Tatyana xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

I warn you now, I read almost anything and everything so I have a lot of favourite books.
I have Marianne Curley's books, I assume you are talking about the 'Guardians of time' trilogy. The third book isn't out until February? Hmph, that's not good. She's also written another called 'Old Magic' which is very good.
I am really interested in Classical Civilisations, so any books from or about that era fascinate me. The Odyssey obviously, but particularly Theresa Tomlinson's 'Moon Riders' duology about the Amazon warrior women, and Caroline B Cooney's 'Over the Seas to Troy'. Theresa Tomlinson I like in general, if anyone likes the legends of Robin Hood I would recommend 'the Forestwife trilogy'.
I also love the 'Lord of the Rings', and it has been my favourite book since I first read it at the age of eight. I do prefer the books to the films though.
Other books... Garth Nix, Philip Pullman and Brian Jacques' 'Flying Dutchman' series are also faves.
Tamora Pierce's books, particularly the Tortallan quartets are excellent as well, and I also write fanfiction based upon those books.

I really like Tamora Pierce too (anyone read Trickster's Queen yet?), as well as Crown Duel and Court Duel by Sherwood Smith and The Green Rider by Kristin Britain. The Bartimaeus Trilogy is one of my favorites too.

I have read 'The Angel's Command' and liked it, although I think I preferred the first one. Theresa Tomlinson's writing an anglo saxon one? I wonder if it's going to be about a set of myths, perhaps the Arthurian set.
I haven't managed to read Trickster's Choice yet, I think it was only released in England in hardback a couple of weeks ago... If you like Tamora Pierce though, there is an excellent board that I moderate on called the Dancing Dove you might want to have a look at.
'The Green Rider' I had forgotten about- I read that last month and it was fantastic. There's now a sequel- 'First Rider's Call' that I want to read.
