How can you hate shakespeare? He's amazing! His plays were writtien 500 years ago, yet they are still just as relevant today as when they were first written! The language is so beautiful, and its just so amazing, I don't understand how you can hate it! *sits in gobsmacked silence*

yay! lucky you..... I hate end of year exams... but i like our french teacher for repeating the incomprehensible french people on the tape very slowly so that it was easy to understand! if you actually understand what i mean

yea..it's like when you watch french movies or tv shows..they talk really fast and sometimes u dont catch any of it....i used to have to do listenin tests and stuff for french..ick..

Post by TruBellezzan on May 30, 2005 12:19:31 GMT -1
yeah, the listening test was what I was talking about... What is mean to come out as: "Je m'appelle Ellie. Je trece ans, etc.,etc." comes out as: "jempellellie, jetrecand" etc, etc. or something equally incomprehensible... and also Spanish people talk as fast, if not faster! So I don't get any relief in spanish tests either... In real life, I talk really fast, so no one actually understands what I say most of the time... ah well, what can you do?

lol..yea ;D ..i think you got spanish and french confused tho. trece is spanish...treize is french . I used to do really well in both oral test i had..but...on TV..i acutally have to try and figure out what they're sayin...agh

yea i do german at school and we had a listening test last week and i couldnt understand a thing they said on the tape so i just guessed but it was really unfair coz some of the other classes got the teacher to read it out for them so they could actually understand

Our French Teacher is nice about it though, and he admits that the tapes are practically incomprehensible and he repeats it more slowly for us. I suppose he is one of the only teachers who can actually be called ok.....

eugghh, just went to a parents evening, and have finally made my choices (I think!). It's so difficult, and my music teacher was desperately trying to sell her subject to me, but I'm not going to do it, so it was kinda awkward....
