a trilogy of 4 with 5 books. They’re going to MASSACRE my beloved books. Alas. At lest it will be funny. And huzzah for alan rickman, sexist voice ever.

heehe, yeah that's always the danger of making a film from a book, they ALWAYS wreck them.....*sighs*
hmm, not sure about alan rickman's voice being exactly sexy....i think antonio banderas has the sexiest voice ever.... xoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxo

which is exactly why The Amazing Douglas Adams (may he rest in peace) called it a trilogy of 4. with 5 books in it. Yay for hitchhiker logic.
and its duet/duo, trilogy, quartet, cinqet, sextet, heptet, octet, ect. series is just a general word

and i cant remember the last one. i read them when i was 10. i think.

yeah soe the movie is quite good but they mess around with it a lot.
OMG I SAW HITCHHIKER'S GUIDE AND IT WAS AMAZING!!!! They totally didn't ruin it! Although John Malkovitch was playing some character who never appears and zaphod's second head got removed at one point for some reason...but still. Bill Nighy was brilliant as slartibartfart "come with me or you will be late.....late as in the late dentarthurdent"
omg and martin freeman was so cute!!! I totally wanted to hug him, he's adorable! And that sam rockwell dude was a totally good zaphod!!!
phew, out of breath... xoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxox

I'm going to see it soon, my parents keep promising to take me, but they never do take me to the cinema when they promise, so i'll probably end up not going at all or with my friends

Saw it last week and was SO disappointed. Everything cheers up when you get to the divine Bill Nighy as Slartibartfast in Magrathea, so the last 15 minutes wasn't TOO bad but I almost walked out I was so uninvolved.
And the John Malkovitch character was such a waste! Why have an eating and drinking scene with a character who has no bottom half? Everything would just drop through.
I'm with yoiu, Anni, they shouldn't have messed with the best. Hope poor Douglas isn't spinning too hard.
