Some things about the pic 1. Why is Arya's hair blond??? It's a really good question, Rosie. 2. Why isn't Eragon holding a sword, while everyone else seems to have one (with the exception of Durza, who's mostly behind Galbatorix anyway)? You can sort of see the hilt of Ajihad's sword. Brom's, Arya's, Murtagh's, and Galbatorix's are obvious. 3. Aside from that, it's awresome!

INO! Blond and black are NOT the same thing, it's really annoying, especially if thats what arya's gonna look like for the movie!
i have no idea why eragon isn't holding a sword!
(Oh, speaking of swords what sort of sword do you think Eragon will get now that Murtagh claimed Zar'roc?)

Oh, just something i realized about those rumors.
It's about that Baen-Letta one. The rumor was something about a character named "Baen-Letta" emerging.
Baen-Letta translates to Sorrow-Stop or something like that. I'm not sure what true names acctually are but does anyone think that could be tha real name of someone not a new charcter?

I seriously know absolutely nothing.
Here's some of my bets:
1. Some other dragons 2. Eragon leaves at the end of book 3 (that's almost given) 3. Eragon finds someone to love, if not Arya. 4. Eragon gets a new sword SOMEHOW. 5. Murtagh comes back to the good side 6. The good side wins! ^^ (I think I'll get that much right)

As far as I see it, murtugh didn't really leave the good side. it irritates me that chris is setting him up as a redemption figure, when, as far as I'm concerned, he doesn't need reedeeming. The relationship that murtugh has with his father, is, as far as I can see from my reading, the same kind of relationship that makes women constantly go back to abusive relationships - his father is the only one he knows. His father has been the only one to aknowledge him - albeit by nearly killing him - and, well, it's his father, god**nit. No one else has ever accepted him - he hasn't let anyone else accept him - he's been a pawn, he's mentally traumatized, now, he's really nothing more than a zombie. He's had information forced from his mind, he's been beaten and tortured - and seeing as he's not very strong mentally at all, it doesn't take much. the poor guy is a pawn. All he needs is space and time to learn to accept himself, and for others too accept him. he needs to learn a new way of thinking to recover from a lifetime of confusion and doubts and mixed loyalties and ties... *huggles her murtugh* Did I mention he's my favourite character? I love the duality of him - his fearsome strenght, his skill, his power, his strength - and then the contradicton of his very fragile, very delicatly balanced mind, all the confusion and doubt and messed upness. Just makes me squee. And want to jump on him madly and steal him away. I've been mostly trying to stay away from this area of the board, because even though I adore the world, certain parts of it make me want to bash my head repeatedly on a brick wall. I will attempt to restrain myself though. I've had a long CAPSLOKY vent to a fellow inheritence lover, so I am slightly more calm than ususal. Arya. What a little prissy mary sue. SHE'S A MARY SUE. SHE MAKES ME WANT TO HIT HER. She's too flawless, too perfect, too wise, too 'omg, I have internal angst, woes' to be a fully formed character. It feels like fingernails scraping down a blackboard. Also, the rest of the elves aren't much better. He's essentially taken tolkeinesque elves, and taken away the part that made them bearable - the fact that they were dead, and faded and old... I dislike the way they are perceived as the ultimate morality and... I dunno. They're a mary sue race - they make no sense , and just irritate me. Irritate me a lot. He could have done so much with them, yet he stuck to the very worst sterotypes, and took away any hope of redeeming them as a valid section of the... world.. hmm. not the word I'm looking for. HOWEVER. I do love the books. I adore the books. The books are love, and excellent and magic and cool and wicked and all sorts of other adjectives. And I want to hit the casting director with a big WTF fish several times. Some of their casting choices make anni's eyes burn. *removes herself back out of the section before people come and attack her with pitchforks and flaming torches*
