Actually, if my english teacher is any good at her job, then cog means together, which leaves nomen, which, I think is germanic for being called something (in other words, a name...... SHOCK!!! HORROR!!!!!) so is it to have a double-barreled surname? My germanic is pretty shakey, so I'm not sure...................
