...and don't get aroung doing it. So maybe it'll help to post what I've already written so you can remind me to keep on writing
There'll probably be a lot of mistakes in the story (spelling, grammar etc.), and I'll be more than happy if you point them out to me. After all, I'm here to learn
Enrico didn't know what to do.
After he'd found out that Giuliana, his fiancée, had died because of Rinaldo and the old Duchessa, he'd felt lost, confused and depressed. She was dead, his beautiful and lovely wife-to-be was dead. She hadn't left him because she didn't love him any longer, no – she was taken away from him. He and Giuliana could have been happy together, they could have been married, even have had children by now! And both Rinaldo and the Duchessa had taken that future, that beautiful future, away from him.
Only the thought of those two people made him shiver again of anger and with one swallow he emptied the glass of wine he was holding. He had been drinking way too much since he had left Giglia, and he knew it, but he didn't really care. All he wanted was to make both the lifes of Rinaldo and the old Duchessa like hell. He wanted to make them suffer.
A shallow smile spread across his face, but it didn't reach his eyes. Yes, suffer they would.

Arianna couldn't remember the last time that she'd found herself feeling really bored while having dinner. Her father, Rodolfo, who was seated at her left, was in deep conversation with her mother and had only spoken to the young Duchessa when necessary. Arianna didn't really mind – Rodolfo had been away for the past two weeks and he and Silvia would surely have a lot to catch up on.
Still, that didn't make her feel any better. The chair at her right was empty. It was reserved for Luciano, but he was in Bellezza and wouldn't be back before night. Arianna missed him, not only because she couldn't look into his eyes whenever she wanted to, or wouldn't hear his voice before next morning, but also because the man sitting next to the empty chair was talking to her, and his stories were not very interesting. Filippo, as he was named, had already told her everything about his youth and Fortezza, the city he lived in. Now he had started talking about his children.
"Felicia turned one last month, and she already started talking! I'm really proud of her, Your Highness, as you will understand. Her first word -"
Arianna sighed. She couldn't care less about what his children were named or how well they could talk. She was tired, and all she wanted to do was go upstairs and get some sleep. At moments like this, she really hated being a Duchessa and not to be able to sleep whenever she wanted to. She had a city to take care of.
"Your Grace, am I boring you?" Filippo asked at that very moment. "You look absent-minded."
"Oh, no, you're not boring me at all!" Arianna said quickly. "Please continue." She couldn't permit herself making him feel hurt. That would only cause her and Bellezza trouble. "Your stories are very... interesting."
The man smiled and happily continued telling about his daughter. Arianna's eyes wandered to the window. She wondered where Luciano was and what he was doing.
She just couldn't wait to see him again.

I hope there's more to come, if I can convince myself to write. I'm really lazy
