nah, i doubt it, i don't think she would come on here as it just seems to be a conversation for us, so... she's never gonna come on here, unless she's gonna delete it!! And then it'll be too late! Anni, if you come on here with the evil intention of deletion, then read the pleas, please! hey, that is so weird.... pleas, please... anyway... listen to our tears of bitter hardworking and contemplation of the destruction of our sherlock holmes society....

Well, I finally seem to be required, before you go and throw yourself off a cliff (although I have to admitt it was rather amusing). This is rather off topic, and, as you said tru, just a private conversation. I propose modlocking this thread, and you can set up your office in Burlesca. That means that although you wont be able to add new comments to this board, you will be able to refer back to your all inportant case notes. Good? (PS. and it was obviouse that Falco and Georgia was coming. It needed to be tidied up. Although my cynical self personaly found that a bit trite and twee and uergh. I'd of rather had georgia depseratly try to stravagte permanantly to talia, then getting stuck half way between the worlds and and disapearing, and have falco getting bored of watsing awa y and run of with a hot blonde chick from his class. Simple, realistic, and happy. )

Bitter? Moi?
Not really.
I like to think of myself as a realist, considered by others a cynic. I prefer to be alone and knowledgable than happy and ignorant. This translates into me analysing and picking apart everything I read or see or hear. I detest cheesyness, fakeness, cliches, unhuman behaviour and everything convinient. Humans are messy creatures, especially relationship wise, and it irritates me when things are neatly tied up with a bow at the end. I adore fantasy, but I want the people in it to act like humans, instead of 2D human-like creatures. Don't get me wrong, I adore romance, but I think its more romantic when the two involved parties actually act like humans - when the romance is realistic.
Not all this blush blush giggle giggle bumped hands 'showers of sparks' purple prosed beds of roses suave confident answer to everything tall dark hadnsome guy sweeps a tall slim beautiful intelligent witty brunette off her feet spntaneousley, love at first sight, married 3 weeks later, grow old together have 6 millions kids and everything is happy.
Ew.
Instead, the insecure short guy with glasses and sandy brown hair that sticks up at the back, nervousley stammering an invitation to an also insecure slightly chubby bespectalled girl with firey hair and a wild imagination. They exchange awkward conversation, both sure the sound stupid, and everything progresses mindnumbingly slowly as they are both certain that the other is only humouring them and they will be dumped tomorrow. Eventually, they grow to trust each other, and become not only romantically attached, but also good friends underneath. Their relationships has its ups and downs, they even split up at one point and see other people, but eventually they find their way back to each other. They do get married, they have a kid, but the girl has an affair. She has to salvage the remains of their relationship, and slowly he begins to trust her again, and they grow old together after a lifetime of knowing each other.
Thats romantic.
Ah well... am off to reread the cynics dictionary...
(oh and I'll lock this in a day or two, ok? Sherlock, you have 48 hours. This message will self destruct in 5 seconds.)

*frantically tries to read message before it self-destructs - five seconds isn't that long to read that...* Come on, you've got to allow some wishful thinking in books... I think at least the fictional characters could have a nice romance without break ups even if we can't... if we can't let them have that, then that's just selfish...

The characters in books can have nice romances without breakups, so long as they act like the species they're meant to be. Human romance, even without breakups, is far more romantic than cheesy film romance. Seriousley. The kind of romance that you read and makes you feel warm and fuzzy and makes you happy for about a week is always the kind where people stammer and blurt out the wrong thing, and makes mistakes. You never get warm fuzzy feelings when its all scripted and cliched. Its called fluff, and it is bobs law that dictates that it must be written well or you shall be strung up by your toes and left to rot.

um.... goodbye..... I've done all my virtual packing and I have put it all in my magic handbag which can hold many things which don't fit into it..... like sofas and things..... if that makes sense. Which it probably doesn't - I need to stop confusing myself. K, very soon a new Sherlock and Holmes base will be set up!!
