'belle' is beautiful in french (or latin, not quite sure)... all the names like annabel or isabel or gabriella are all mean something beautiful. interesting point.

ummm about the translations of the other cities, i did that to in italian, none of them had meanings!! it was annoying after finding out about Bellezza, Remora and Gigalia. Does anyone have any ideas what significance the meaning hesitation has to the city Remora??? like Bellezza is beauty and that the beauty of the city is covered with masks. (personally i think the masks intensify the origionality and stuff of the city) and Gigalia is 'city of flowers'... but hesitation? i didn't get that one..... tash

Remora doesn't mean "hesitation." It is named for Remus who won the battle with Romulus in Talian history/myth. (It's an old name for Siena; Georgia finds it in an encyclopaedia at school in COS.) Giglia is a word made up by me based on Italian "giglio" which means "lily."
Many of the other city names are just modifications of their Italian names. But Cittanuova means "new city" which is what Naples comes from in Greek ("Neapolis" which is why the adjective is "Neapolitan."). Montemurato means walled city, Fortezza means a Fortress, Classe is an old name for Ravenna.
If you need more help, especially with the RPG, just ask. I'm here.
Viva Bellezza!

that part about cittanuova makes perfect sense. citt has something 2 do w/ city in latin, and nuo i think literally means new. we study latin words in class, but we don't learn enough 2 actually speak in latin. kinda stinks, b/c i find it very cool.

Erm, right. The Latin roots are cool. I was always fascinated with Latin-that's why I decided to take it. Why are you in a bad mood?

Oh..that sucks...my school's rugby team won this tournament yesterday..the last of the season..but didnt get into the playoffs. THey're doing by point aparently.oh well.
About Bellezza...I think someone wasn't sure where it's roots were from or something. belle is french...but bellezza is beauty..or it is beautiful? whatever..in both spanish and italian. But since all three come from latin..im guessing it's from latin originally...

yeah, 'belle' has something 2 do with beautiful, doesn't really matter if a zza is stuck on the end... and besides, italian and spanish are very similar languages, if you like to compare nouns.
and actually being on base when the final out was made makes it even worse because it was obvious that she was freakin' safe...

lol yeah! I think a new trilogy should have new characters and stravagante and there could be some small sections to see what the old characters are doing. Also, there should be, like, more stravaganti coming from talia to england, b/c that would be quite funny... arta xxxx
